Steve is known as one half of the successful duo at Kowalski Construction. He leads his team with a wealth of knowledge and understanding of the industry having occupied almost every job in the company and pursuing education in and outside his field. Steve has also estimated and managed over $200 Million dollars of restoration projects. In giving back to the community, Steve has also volunteered with the non-profit UMOM.

Since 1979

Jim’s presence within the industry is known nationwide. He has served on many international, national and local Boards over the years including; Restoration Affiliates, National Institute of Disaster Restoration, Arizona Multihousing Association, UMOM, The Future is Now Foundation and countless industry association committees, usually in leadership or chair positions.  Jim is also an active member of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) where he has won ‘Industry Partner of the Year’ several times.

He is a frequent national and local speaker, presenter and instructor. Jim generously gives back to the community, volunteering for a number of worthwhile causes.  One of his favorite charities is the non-profit UMOM where he served on the board from 2009-2017.

His focus and drive liaising between 1-800-BOARDUP and Kowalski Construction make him a key player in complex situations. After training in UnSmoke Systems Water Damage Restoration, International Residential Codes and EPA Lead qualifications, he has the tools and training to reduce loss and speed repairs for your home.

Leah has a long history of experience in accounting and financial management. She comes to Kowalski Construction from the multi-family property management industry where she held the positions of Controller and  Broker. This background gives her the added benefit of having experienced construction and rehab jobs from the customer’s perspective. She earned her BS in accounting from the University of Phoenix in 2004 and her CPM designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management in 2017. Leah prides herself on her attention to detail, communication skills and extraordinary ethics.

Anthony joined Kowalski Construction after serving three tours of duty with the United States Navy in the Persian Gulf as an engineer.  With more than twenty years of construction experience, working on multi-million dollar projects, Tony provides excellent customer service, an exemplary work product while staying current with changing technology. Holding certifications from the EPA, IICRC, Clean Trust and Restoration Affiliates, Tony continues his education to this day.

Amir’s career in restoration and reconstruction began in 2002, and since then, he has amassed extensive experience and expertise in the field. Over the course of two decades, he has acquired multiple certifications in restoration, estimating, and management, honing his skills and knowledge while gaining invaluable leadership experience. After serving in various management and leadership capacities over the years, he sought a fresh challenge and joined the Kowalski team as Construction Operations Manager. In this role, he has led the charge on numerous initiatives aimed at enhancing communication and fostering collaboration across departments. Amir’s drive is fueled by his passion for service, relentless pursuit of growth, and a commitment to fostering a strong sense of unity among team members.

Dan knows the insurance industry better than almost anyone.  His entire career has been spent working with insurance companies as an adjuster investigating claims and playing a crucial role in the entire process. Dan has gone through HAAG certification which carries a lot of weight in the insurance industry, indicating someone who can effectively and efficiently inspect and assess damage with a much deeper level of credibility. His understanding of the claims process, estiamting programs, and construction management software gives him valuable knowledge to not only keep our systems running efficiently, but to keep up with ongoing changes in the industry.
